As of August 2025, I’ve become part of an exclusive group of students in England - those with a grade 9 in maths, despite the unprecedented increase in the grade boundaries, and being predicted a low 8. None of this would have been possible without the teaching and guidance of miss Masha, who prepared me for the final exams from year 10 until the very end of year 11 just before my exams, whilst constantly spotting my weak areas and helping me address them in a constructive, ordered way. Perhaps what I am most grateful for was the patience with which I was tutored and the explanations of mathematical processes which contrasted the dull and inaccessible explanations at school.
